Why poverty in Indonesia is not resolved?
When I speak of poverty, I remember how sad our people lack the money to provide for their families everyday needs. We live in a richer world. The number of people living in extreme poverty has been halved in recent decades, but not for Indonesia.
Firstly, in a world where there is an abundance of food and other resources, no human being should go to bed hungry at night or without the basic necessities that make life liveable. Some countries and wealthy people don’t share with others that are in need, It can buy some food but not enough for a whole country full of people.
Secondly, it is a fact that a very small number of people in the world have most of the world’s wealth. If this wealth was shared equally everyone in every country would have enough food, shelter and education to ensure a good life. Most people can end up in poverty because of some of the rich people that take away money from people.
Another reason why poverty should be ended is because the United Nations has a charter which describes in details the rights of all humans to a good life.
I strongly believe that the world’s richest countries should share most of their money and all of the essentials that will help poverty end. It isn’t fair that people that are living in poverty have to suffer and while others are just lying around in a mansion with food and everything they need!
